WebXR Image tracking on HoloLens

Hi!

I’ve been looking for this, but I can’t seem to find a definitive answer. I’m working with WebXR to create AR experiences for the HoloLens through the browser. It would be great to have some image tracking, and I’ve worked with the image tracking for React Native before. Is something like that possible with WebXR through the browser on HoloLens 2?

I guess more broadly my question is: What browsers/devices currently support the WebXR image tracking?

Thanks!

Image tracking is not yet supported on the hololens edge browser. Sorry…

Hi!

Alright, thanks for the quick and clear answer. Any chance of that happening in the future?

I sure hope so!
I will try checking, but sadly can’t promise any timeline.
