We made a material with the help of the NME (you can find it here)
Inside NME, the material looks like what we want, but when applied in the real scene, it appears black.
Having experience only with offline renderers myself, I’d say it is not receiving the lighting information from the environment, and that leads me to think about the Node Material Editor and if I have to do something there in order for the material to receive such information when applied to a scene.
Any help is much appreciated.

You should add a reflection block (leave it empty - don’t assign a map) to the PBRMetallicRoughness block so that the environment map you define for your scene is correctly applied to your material:
